Welcome to Ngutana-Lui Educational Centre

Ngutana-Lui is Brisbane Catholic Education’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Studies Centre, based at Inala, and provides opportunities for students, their teachers, and people of all ages to increase their awareness, appreciation and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures and spiritualities.

The aim of the Centre is to promote reconciliation through education by providing a wide range of cultural learning opportunities, aligned with the Australian Curriculum. Ngutana-Lui services are intended to supplement on-going programs and curriculum delivery in both primary and secondary schools.

Our Staff

​​The Ngutana-Lui Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Studies Centre was established in 1989 by Brisbane Catholic Education in conjunction with the Aboriginal and Islander Catholic Council and the local community.

Our Facilities

The Centre is located in the Moreton Region about 15 kilometres south west of Brisbane in the grounds of St Mark's Parish, Inala.
